David Bentley Hart’s newest book, Theological Territories: A David Bentley Hart Digest has been named a Best Religion Book of the Year for 2020 by Publishers Weekly. Hart, one of America's most eminent contemporary writers on religion, is an Eastern Orthodox scholar of religion, philosophy, and a cultural commentator. He is the author and translator of fifteen books.

In selecting Theological Territories as one of this year's best religion books, Publishers Weekly said, “This brilliant collection of essays . . . showcases [Hart’s] philosophical and theological chops. Included are stimulating ruminations on how science influences religion, trenchant responses to secular atheist critics, and revealing explorations of the translation process. The result is an illuminating and thorough look at modern Christianity.”

Theological Territories, available in a best-selling paperback edition, has been reviewed in Book Forum, Publishers Weekly, Conciliar Post, and other outlets. The book is available wherever books are sold, or on our website.
