Catholic Media Association Book Awards
On July 8, 2022, the Catholic Media Association announced the winners for the Catholic Media Association 2022 Book Awards during the Catholic Media Conference in Portland, Oregon. This program recognizes the outstanding work of publishers, authors, and book editors that support the faith-filled life of Catholic readers. Winners receive an award certificate and are recognized by their peers during the Annual Catholic Media Conference. Six University of Notre Dame Press Books received top honors.
FIRST PLACE, ECUMENISM OR INTERFAITH RELATIONS
The Eucharistic Sacrifice by Sergius Bulgakov, translated by Mark Roosien
This first English translation represents Sergius Bulgakov’s final, fully developed word on the Eucharist. This work, written in 1940, belongs to Bulgakov’s late period and is his last, and most discerning, word on eucharistic theology. The introduction by Mark Roosien provides a brief history of Bulgakov’s theological career and a description of the structure of The Eucharistic Sacrifice.

The Way of Medicine: Ethics and the Healing Profession by Farr Curlin and Christopher Tollefsen
